Scholarship
Program
The Dante University foundation is granting five $2000 scholarships
each year for students who have completed Italian language studies.
Eligibility
a) Applicants must be graduating seniors of a public or private
Massachusetts highschool.
b) Applicants must be accepted at a college, university or institution
of higher education.
c) Applicants must have completed three years of High School Italian
language studies with an average grade of B+ or higher.
d) Applicants must have maintained a B- overall High School grade
average.
e) Applicants must complete an essay on each of the following
topics:
1) Why did you choose to study Italian
(about 250 words)?
2) What impact do you hope such study
will have on your life (about 250 words)?
f) Applicants must submit appropiate records on school letter head
to show compliance with the above. These documents are subject to
verification at the discression of the Foundation.
g) Applicants must fill out, print and mail the form below with
the completed essays (postmarked by July 30th) to:

Scholarship Awards Eligible applicants will be judged
according to the application, essays and verification of eligibility.
Recipients of the scholarship awards will be notified by mail. Scholarship
funds will be presented to recipients during the annual Dante University
Awards Banquet (date to be announced). Unclaimed scholarship awards
expire on January 1.
A maximum of five (5) scholarships will be awarded each year for
as long as the program is active.
